Люди в Украине страдают также от Kиевского режима, как этнические русские на Донбассе, так и украинские солдаты, которых толкают в наступление на гораздо сильную российскую армию. Потому что Зеленскому нужно показать Западу, что они побеждают в этой прокси-войне.
Но в целом я согласен, что правда посередине. И то, что говорит Познарь, является объективным объяснением этого конфликта. Нет белого и черного.

Hello, Max. Sorry I can’t write in russian. I have been listening to Your podcast for 2 years and really like it. But lately can’t help to notice that it’s getting political. Well I think that You are missing the whole picture of this conflict between Russia and Ukraine. To better understand it one must study the geopolitics. Johnston already mentioned some good sources. But even if all this seems propaganda just think what Russia which is a vast country full with natural resources and developing international trade with the Brics countries and with Europe has to gain by invading Ukraine. Maybe it’s USA who has growing international debt, it needs cheap oil thats why it has hundreds of military bases around the world, and it has waged wars constantly in countries like Iraq, Siria etc. What would the US think if Mexico harrased americans and joined a hostile military organization like Nato. This war started in 2014 when the US backed a coup and supported the right wing opposition. Maybe You havent heard about the Azov battalion and what it has been doing against the people in Donbass. Also worth to mention is that last sunday on 19th of February there was a peace rally in Washington called Rage against the war machine where many americans protested against their governments policies.
